Before you write
Please do
- Describe what you typed and what you expected to see. Made-up numbers are perfect.
- Mention your browser and device if something looks off.
- Say if an accessibility issue got in your way, and how.
Please do not
- Send account numbers, passwords or screenshots of real balances.
- Ask what to buy, hold or sell. This project cannot give investment advice.
- Expect a set reply time. This is an independent project, and answers arrive when they arrive.
Good to know
Privacy, plainly
Does this form send my message?
No. It builds a pre-filled link that opens in your own email program. You press send there, or you do not. This page never transmits anything.
Are my holdings visible to anyone?
Holdings and journal entries are kept in your browser’s local storage on your device. They are not uploaded, and they are not part of any email unless you type them into your message yourself.
Is this connected to a broker or data provider?
No. Markets Dashboard is an independent project with no affiliation to any broker, exchange or data provider, and it never connects to one.
